Eurosport Extends Rights Deal For 24 Hours Of Le Mans For Four More Years

Eurosport has “renewed its rights for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship” for four years, according to MEDIA SPORTIF. Eurosport will “continue to provide its subscribers with complete 24 Hours of Le Mans coverage and eight other stages of the WEC on its channels in Europe and in Asia Pacific” (MEDIA SPORTIF, 10/14). ADVANCED TELEVISION's Colin Mann reported as well as live race coverage, Eurosport Player "is set to continue to carry a range of additional compelling content, such as on-board camera feeds." The partnership "was brokered by" Infront Sports & Media, the exclusive media rights partner of The Automobile Club de l’Ouest and WEC. The new four-year agreement begins next year and runs until '20. Eurosport "provided fans with comprehensive coverage of this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, including over 29 hours live" (ADVANCED TELEVISION, 10/14).
