Marketplace Roundup: A-League Central Coast Mariners Name Dyldam Co-Major Sponsor

A-League side Central Coast Mariners named construction company Dyldam a co-major sponsor. The Dyldam logo will appear on the front of the Mariners' away kit while the MasterFoods logo will remain on the front of the Mariners’ home kit. Dyldam’s logo will also appear on the back of the club’s home kit. The Dyldam logo was featured front and center on the team's yellow Umbro kit Saturday night against Perth Glory (Central Coast Mariners).

Swiss watch brand Tag Heuer will "become an important sponsor" of the BMC Racing team in '17. The red and green Tag Heuer logo will fill the sleeve area of the red and black BMC jersey. The "arrival of Tag Heuer will help secure the long-term future of the team" after doubts about the desire of BMC team Owner Andy Rihs to continue covering the estimated $20M team budget. Olympic Gold Medal winner Greg van Avermaet has extended his contract with the team, and Nicolas Roche and Francisco Ventoso have been signed for '17 (CYCLING NEWS, 10/8).

The Biathlon World Team Challenge "has agreed to a new title sponsorship deal" with flooring brand Jako. The brand is owned by German company W. & L. Jordan GmbH and replaces IKK Classic as the event's title sponsor. Jako will pay an estimated €100,000 ($122,600) for the initial one-off deal. This year's event will take place at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on Dec. 26 (SPONSORs, 10/10).

Top14 rugby side Montpellier Hérault Rugby and Air France-owned regional airline HOP! “signed a partnership agreement for three seasons.” Now an official club partner until ’19, HOP!’s logo will “appear on the players’ shorts and on pitch-side signage.” HOP! has partnership agreements “with nine Top14 clubs” (SPORTBUZZ BUSINESS, 10/10).

The German Basketball Federation (DBB) renewed its sponsorship deal with direct bank ING-DiBa. As part of the agreement, ING-Diba's logo will continue to be featured on the front of all German national teams. The bank will also stay on as an official partner of the German Wheelchair Sports Federation (DRS), supporting the wheelchair basketball department. The new contract will run until Sept. 30, 2020. ING-Diba has been an official partner of the DBB since '03 (DBB).

Emirates Airlines is taking the FA Cup trophy "on a tour of Africa." The Dubai carrier is the lead partner of the world’s oldest football cup competition, and the tour "forms part of the three-year sponsorship deal" it has with the FA. The FA Cup will visit Accra, Ghana and Nairobi in Kenya "after a short layover in Dubai" (THE NATIONAL, 10/10).

Australia's National Basketball League announced Europcar will continue as the official car rental partner of the NBL for the '16-17 season. Through digital asset sharing, Europcar will gain exposure to the young professional demographic that follows the NBL (NBL).
