Media Notes: Eurosport Partners With U.S. Olympic Champion Lindsey Vonn

Eurosport has teamed up with U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn to launch an all-encompassing series that will give fans exclusive access to Vonn. The series, "Chasing History," which debuts in February, will go behind-the-scenes with Vonn as she pursues her professional dream of breaking the number of world cup wins, forming a key part of the buildup to Eurosport’s coverage of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games (Eurosport).

Sky Q "is introducing a set of new features designed to enhance viewing for sports fans." Selected events "will now allow customers to watch two streams side by side." For example, if an F1 race "is taking place at the same time as a key match in the Premier League." It will be possible to customize streams with Match Choice or Race Choice or select highlights and watch video clips "alongside the main event." Scores and tables "will also be available" (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 10/5).

Motor1.com, a sister company of Motorsport.com, announced its global expansion by launching Motor1.com-Turkey through its acquisition of the MyGaraj.com website. The new digital platform marks the company’s int'l expansion, joining the U.S., Italy, Canada, and France. Motor1.com-Turkey supports the company’s global business strategy and expansion into new markets around the world, which will see Motor1.com in more than 15 editions by the end of next year in as many as 10 languages (Motor1.com).
