Palermo President Calling For More Equitable TV Money Distribution In Serie A

Serie A side Palmero President Maurizio Zamparini has called for "more equitable distribution of television money to curb Juventus' dominance," according to FOOTBALL ITALIA. Juventus has won the league the past five years in a row, and "opened-up a four-point lead after seven games this term." Zamparini said, "The financial dominance of the Bianconeri is effectively what makes the difference, just like Bayern [Munich] in Germany. This morning we read in the papers that they’ve signed another two players [Axel Witsel and Rodrigo Bentancur], but if they sign all of them then there’s no point playing" (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 10/4).
