Man City To Participate In Football-Focused Reality TV Series Airing In China

Man City will participate in the first football-focused reality TV series to be broadcast in China. The club will be featured in Football Mania, which will follow a newly-formed team and track its progress from the start, including a training program for a match against a City Academy squad. The program will begin filming in January, with broadcast scheduled for April. The team will train in various locations, including the City Football Academy, and will face opponents from across China. The series was created by Guangdong TV, Camsing Global and Bingxun Sports.

NEW EXPERIENCE: A new football-watching experience is available to Man City fans thanks to the new CityVR app. The app provides supporters with the opportunity to enjoy highlights from a range of matches in virtual reality. The launch is part of the club's continued experimentation with such software and follows a successful public trial in May '15, when the club, Sky Sports and app development collaborator LiveLike produced a live EPL match in VR for the first time (Man City).
