French Football Federation, LFP Announce New HQ In Beijing

The French Football Federation and the French Professional Football League (LFP) on Thursday announced the opening of a joint office in China. The development and cooperation office, based in Beijing, will be operational starting in ’17. The goal of the office is to develop the French football market in China and internationally. The four stated goals of the expansion are:

  • The exportation of French training. 
  • The brand marketing of Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Coupe de la Ligue, Coupe de France and national teams to the Chinese public. 
  • The reinforcement of strategic partnerships with Chinese investors. 
  • Economic strategy development for French clubs (LFP).
