Liqui Moly Signs Sponsorship Deal With 2017 Lahti Nordic World Ski Championships
German oils, lubricants and additives producer Liqui Moly "will have a comprehensive marketing presence during the upcoming winter sports season," according to Holger Rehm of SPONSORs. The company "secured a second-tier sponsorship for the 2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti, Finland." Liqui Moly will receive logo presence in camera view, as well as on select starting bibs and signage. The rate for championship sponsorship packages is between €700,000-€1M ($782,000-$1.12M). Liqui Moly joins Stora Enso (presenting sponsor), Luhta, Viessmann, Intersport and Paraoc (all second-tier sponsors) as partners of the event, which is scheduled to take place from Feb. 22-March 5. The company will also be a partner of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup, several FIS Alpine Ski World Cup events and the Int'l Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation World Cup (SPONSORs, 9/20).
