Media Notes: China Arena Football League Partners With ONE World Sports

The China Arena Football League and Arena Football League Global announced that ONE World Sports, America’s network for global sports, would carry the upcoming inaugural season, Super Series 2016. Beginning with the inaugural match live from Beijing, Stamford-based ONE World Sports will air the CAFL’s entire 18-game season (CAFL).

Sky has run its first Box Office event online with the streaming of Saturday’s boxing match between Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook. In addition to the regular linear transmission, viewers were able to stream the bout via the Sky Sports website, and view on Now TV. The technology was powered by NeuLion (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 9/12).

Eleven Sports Network launched a third channel, Eleven Extra, on nc+ to bring more sports action to fans in Poland. The new channel enhances the network's existing offer, which consists of Eleven and Eleven Sports (Eleven Sports Network).

Kyrgyzstan became the third Asian federation to launch its live streaming platform during a recent friendly against the Philippines. This follows the launch of the video platform in Bhutan and Oman. The platform, part of the AFC President’s Initiatives Programme, is facilitated by video streaming specialist Mycujoo, which advises on equipment, software, technology and onsite training/workshops. The game against the Philippines had more than 8,000 visits to the platform and was promoted via the federation’s Facebook page and other social media channels (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 9/12).
