Diving For Gold "follows Daley as he embarks on the next chapter of his career under new coach Jane Figueiredo," as he challenges for Gold in Rio. The documentary "also takes a look at Tom’s decision to go public about his sexuality and his relationship with Hollywood screenwriter Dustin Lance Black." Tom Daley: Diving For Gold "was commissioned for ITV by Entertainment Commissioner Amanda Stavri and is being produced by Twofour." Chris Williams "is the producer and director, while Neil Edwards is the executive producer." The documentary "is set to air on ITV later this summer." This "marks a reunion of sorts" between ITV, Twofour and Daley. The broadcaster "previously commissioned two documentaries about Daley, which were both produced by the indie" (TV WISE, 7/5).
