Scottish Premiership Side Celtic Makes Dafabet Its Principal Shirt Sponsor

Scottish Premiership side Celtic announced a "tie-up with Dafabet which will see the betting firm become the club’s main sponsor" from the start of the '16-17 campaign, according to the SCOTSMAN. The company is already the club’s int'l betting partner, and "replaces Magners as the club’s main sponsor after three years." The four-year deal "will see the betting firm’s logo featured on the front of the club’s shirts." Dafabet already sponsors EPL side Sunderland and League Championship side Blackburn Rovers, and has similar int'l betting deals with Everton and West Bromwich Albion. Magners, which extended its sponsorship deal with Celtic last week, will be featured "on the rear of the Hoops’ shirts from the start of the new campaign" (SCOTSMAN, 5/2).
