Media Notes: LeTV Agrees To Three-Year Partnership With AFC Ajax

Chinese online streaming broadcaster LeTV agreed to "a three-year partnership" with Dutch Eredivisie side AFC Ajax. Under the agreement, LeTV will be "the exclusive media partner of Ajax in China" until the end of the '17-18 Eredivisie season, and the broadcaster will partner with Ajax to establish a football training camp "for the Amsterdam-based club in China" (SOCCEREX, 10/27). ... ONE World Sports announced its coverage of the '15-16 Chinese Basketball Association season premieres on Saturday. This marks the fourth year that ONE World Sports has brought CBA basketball to American fans. ONE World Sports will carry 55 live games this season, in addition to the CBA All-Star Weekend and the CBA playoffs (ONE World Sports). ... Liverpool agreed to a "partnership with China's Tencent Sports." The Premier League side will "now establish an official presence on Tencent-owned social media platform WeChat" (SOCCEREX, 10/27).
