Premier League side Aston Villa sacked manager TIM SHERWOOD "after eight months in charge." Ex-Everton and ManU Manager DAVID MOYES is "among those in the frame" to replace Sherwood. U21 Manager KEVIN MACDONALD "has been placed in interim charge" (BBC, 10/25). ... League Championship side Charlton Athletic "sacked head coach GUY LUZON." Luzon, 40, was appointed in January "and won 12 of his 36 matches in charge, steering the club to a safe 12th-placed finish last season." Coaches DAMIAN MATTHEW and DAVID MARTANE "have also left the Valley" (BBC, 10/24). ... JOEL BOUZOU has "been re-elected unopposed as president of the World Olympians Association." Bouzou was first elected in '11 "when he succeeded former Olympic high jump champion DICK FOSBURY as head of the organization representing former Olympic athletes" (AP, 10/23).
