Second Bundesliga Clubs Sell Close To 180,000 Season Tickets For '15-16 Campaign

Second Bundesliga clubs "have sold an average of 10,000 season tickets for the '15-16 campaign," according to Nils Lehnebach of SPONSORs. The 18 clubs sold a total of 177,970 season tickets, which translates into an average of 9,887. Nuremberg is the club that sold the most season tickets with 19,800. At the bottom of the list is FSV Frankfurt with only 1,000 sold season tickets. Fans paid on average between €166.67 ($186) for the cheapest season tickets and €511.31 ($572) for the most expensive. Fortuna Dusseldorf is offering the most expensive season ticket at €690 ($771). The cheapest ticket has a price tag of €130 ($145) and is offered by FSV Frankfurt (SPONSORs, 8/28).
