Bundesliga Side Hoffenheim Extends Naming-Rights Deal With MVV Energie Until '18

Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim "has renewed its stadium naming-rights deal with MVV Energy," according to Rehm & Wagner of SPONSORs. The energy provider, which has been a partner of the club since '11, "is one of six naming-rights partners of the Wirsol-Rhein-Neckar Arena." MVV "is also the club's official energy partner." The contract between Hoffenheim and the Mannheim-based company "will run until the end of the '17-18 season." The MVV logo will be visible on the outside of the stadium. It is also expected that the deal "includes several other marketing opportunities." The other five naming-rights partners are: Harder & Partner, Cement, SAP, Südzucker and Wirsol. Each of the six partners pays an estimated €400,000 ($455,000) annually for the rights (SPONSORs, 8/26).
