Her father, NEIL CAMPBELL, managed Northlands Coliseum when it opened in '72, which is also "where Darrington worked as a teenage usher" in the '80s "during the Oilers dynasty years." Darrington also will "run the launch of another new facility, overseeing operations, hiring staff, booking events and planning" the '16 opening of the new Rogers Place (EDMONTON JOURNAL, 8/19). ... Spaniard PAKO AYESTARAN "has been named the new head coach of reigning Liga MX champion Santos Laguna." Ayestaran was assistant to RAFA BENITEZ in his "stints in winning La Liga with Valencia and the Champions League at Liverpool."
