Japanese Tire Brand Falken Runs Ads At 16 Clubs Across Four European Countries

Tire brand Falken "has intensified its European football sports sponsorships," according to Peter Bock of SPONSORs. The Japanese company "booked signage at 16 different clubs across Germany, France, Italy and Spain." During the opening weekends of the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga, Falken "ran ads in camera view at a total of nine clubs." Among those were Bayer Leverkusen, FC Augsburg, SV Darmstadt and TSG Hoffenheim. The brand also has a presence at La Liga sides Valencia and Espanyol. In Italy, Falken has deals with AS Roma, Bologna and Torino. Ligue 1 sides Olympique Lyonnais and Nice are also partners of the tire company (SPONSORs, 8/19).
