Marketplace Roundup: League Championship Side Reading Signs With Thai Airways

League Championship side Reading announced a new sponsorship deal with Thai Airways. The flag carrier airline of Thailand, which is based in Bangkok, will see its logo appear on the team's '15-16 away shirt as part of the partnership (Reading). ... Polish Ekstraklasa side Jagiellonia Bialystok has "signed a one-year sponsorship deal" with Polish petrol pump installation company AC SA. The agreement will see AC SA's Stag brand logo "feature on the front of the soccer side’s jerseys" for the '15-16 season. No financial terms of the deal were revealed (SOCCEREX, 6/30). ... Brasileiro side Fluminense signed a one-year partnership with dietary supplements brand Voxx Suplementos, with an "option for renewal." Voxx’s logo will be "displayed in the numbers on the back of the team's playing shirts until the middle of next season" (SOCCEREX, 6/29). ... Dimension Data announced it completed its big data analytics and digital delivery platform from which the company will deliver real-time information on individual riders for the first time in the history of professional cycling. This innovation was made possible by Amaury Sport Organisation in partnership with the 22 teams participating in the 2015 Tour de France (ASO). ... The Yucatan Lions baseball team recently unveiled the newly renamed Kukulcan Alamo Park to a sold-out event at the 2015 Mexican Baseball League All-Star Game. This is the first time the stadium, nicknamed the "cathedral of baseball," has changed its name. The name change is thanks to a sponsorship agreement with Alamo Rent A Car (Alamo). ... EPL side Stoke City will show its support for the Asian Football Confederation’s One Goal campaign during the 2015 Asia Trophy. The club will wear shirts bearing the One Goal logo throughout the tournament in Singapore next month (Stoke City). ... World Rugby said that HSBC "signed a four-year extension of its partnership with World Rugby for the Sevens Series as the sport gears up for its Olympic Games debut." HSBC "now has the naming rights for the women's world rugby sevens series" (REUTERS, 6/30). ... Premier League club Bournemouth unveiled int'l online gaming business Mansion Group as its official shirt sponsor. Mansion Group will be featured on the front of the club's home, away and third kit, as well as training wear (Bournemouth). ... League Championship side Birmingham City named barristers No5 Chambers an official diamond partner. No5 Chambers will have its name emblazoned across the back of the club's home shirts throughout the '15-16 season (Birmingham City). ... Nike released a new Premier League football for the '15-16 season. Nike's press release "described the ball as 'updated and improved ... the design of which draws on 15 years' experience of providing advanced, innovative footballs for top-tier leagues.'" The same design -- with different color schemes -- will be "used in La Liga and Serie A" (EUROSPORT, 6/30).
