Xtreme Fighting Championship To Open Int'l Center In São Paulo

Xtreme Fighting Championship will inaugurate its XFC Int'l Center, a five-story building to "serve as a corporate base for the organization," in São Paulo on Saturday, according to LANCEPRESS. The building will "house a training center exclusively for XFC fighters, with an official hexagon, which will be used as the stage" for the event XFCI 10 -- Night of Champions. In addition to the hexagon, the center will have an "Olympic mat for jiu jitsu, judo and other martial arts, an official boxing ring, a physical training and weightlifting center, sauna and restaurant." The upper levels of the building are "equipped with more than 10 corporate offices, conference rooms and studios, which will be used to record official XFC programs." The facility will "host events from the franchise, social gatherings and athlete seminars." XFC President Myron Molotky said, "It's a one of a kind building ... Our center is a step for MMA and the athletes will have access to a five-star structure, just as our sponsors will have incredible exposure opportunities. ... We're in Brazil to stay -- we're half Brazilian and half American" (LANCEPRESS, 6/29).
