South Korean Carmaker Kia Extends Deals with Austrian Bundesliga, Cup Competition

South Korean carmaker Kia "has extended its contract" with Austria's top flight football league, Tipico-Bundesliga, according to Frieder Schilling of SPONSORs. The company will also continue its presence during the Austrian cup competition, ÖFB Cup. Kia renewed its deal with the league for another year until the end of the '15-16 season. The deal includes LED signage at eight of the 10 top-tier clubs. Kia's deal with the cup competition includes ticket and hospitality packages. In addition, the brand is the official car partner of the competition and as such provides vehicles. Kia has been a partner of the Bundesliga for nine years. Its involvement in the cup competition dates back to '09-10 (SPONSORs, 6/18).
