Austrian Football Club SV Grödig Agrees To Shirt Deal With Interwetten

Austrian top tier football club SV Grödig "has reached a new shirt and main sponsorship deal with online betting service Interwetten," according to Peter Bock of SPONSORs. The initial one-year deal will cover the '15-16 campaign and includes extensive marketing and activation rights. Interwetten reportedly "pays a low six figure euro sum for the partnership." After Grödig lost its shirt sponsor at the end of the last season, the club "raffled off the rights package between its existing partners." The shirt deal "ended up with a local bakery, which in turn sold the rights package to Interwetten." It is "not known how much of the sponsorship sum will go to the bakery."
