UEFA Europa League Finals Draws Average of 2.6 Million Viewers On Kabel Eins

German free-to-air TV channel kabel eins "recorded impressive numbers for its broadcast of the UEFA Europa League final between Sevilla and Dnipropetrovsk on Wednesday," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. The game's first half attracted 1.87 million viewers and had a 7.2% market share. The second half of the game, which Sevilla won 3-2, drew a 9.8% share as an average of 2.6 million viewers tuned in. In the target demographic 14-49, kabel eins' broadcast obtained an 11.2% share. Wednesday's final was the last Europa League game on the ProSiebenSat.1 channel. Sport1 will show the competition starting this summer (QUOTENMETER, 5/27).
