Handball Bundesliga (HBL) side Rhein-Neckar Löwen has extended its contract with Managing Dir LARS LAMADE for another three years until '19. Lamade was appointed managing director last September (Rhein-Neckar Löwen). ... Team New Zealand is facing further leadership changes with KEITH TURNER resigning as chairman of the syndicate "after just over a year in the post." According to documents filed with the Companies Office, Turner "ended his directorship of the team last Monday" (NEW ZEALAND HERALD, 5/4).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Spanish second division side Osasuna on Monday announced the sacking of coach JOSÉ MANUEL MATEO, "who abandons the post after a little more than two months and leaves the team in danger of relegation to the Segunda División B" (EP, 5/4). ... Greek basketball club Panathinaikos announced the dismissal of coach DUŠKO IVANOVIĆ through an official statement. SOTIRIS MANOLOPOULOS, a former coaching staff member, "will take over as a temporary coach, until the club can find a replacement" (GREEK REPORTER, 5/3). ... Egyptian side Al-Ahly coach JUAN CARLOS GARRIDO announced Sunday on his Twitter account that he will leave the team after a "decision made by the club's managers." Garrido coached the Egyptian club since '14 (STAR AFRICA, 5/4). ... DELIO ROSSI has been appointed as the new coach for Serie B side Bologna, following DIEGO LOPEZ’s dismissal. Rossi, the former Lazio and Sampdoria coach, was confirmed as Bologna’s new coach, less than an hour after the club announced it sacked Lopez (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 5/4).
