Boca Juniors' 2-0 Superclásico Win Over River Plate Draws More Than 3 Million

Sunday's Argentine first division Superclásico between Boca Juniors and River Plate drew an average market share of 32.4% on TV Pública, according to OLE. Boca's 2-0 win's market share peaked at 43.5%, making it the most-watched TV program so far in '15. The match drew more than 3 million viewers (OLE, 5/4).

BUNDESLIGA RATINGS: DWDL's Alexander Krei wrote German pay-TV network Sky Deutschland "recorded more than 1 million viewers for its broadcast of the match between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen." A total of 1.13 million viewers tuned in to watch the game starting at 6:30pm on Saturday. In the target demographic 14-49, Leverkusen's 2-0 victory obtained a 9.7% market share. German public broadcaster ARD attracted 4.52 million viewers for its Bundesliga highlights show on Saturday afternoon. The number translated into a market share of 22.9%. In the target demographic, the show had a 15.7% share, which was the worst audience figure since the beginning of February.

HOCKEY WORLDS: German free-to-air TV channel Sport1 drew 400,000 viewers for its broadcast of the match between Germany and Canada at the IIHF World Championships on Sunday. The number equaled a 2.2% share. In the target demo, Canada's 10-0 win obtained a 2.1% share. Germany's win over France on Saturday obtained a 4.7% share in the target demo as 490,000 viewers tuned in. The game between Finland and Denmark on Sunday evening drew a 0.5% share as 140,000 viewers tuned in (DWDL, 5/4).
