International Champions Cup China Announces Teams, Cities For 2015

RSE Ventures, Relevent Sports and Letv Sports announced the participating clubs, cities, dates and matchups for the Int'l Champions Cup China 2015. Real Madrid, AC Milan and Inter Milan face off in the inaugural Chinese edition of the Int'l Champions Cup and will compete in a round-robin competition. Below is the planned list of the matchups for the 2015 Int'l Champions Cup China:

  • Saturday, July 25
    - AC Milan vs. Inter Milan -- Longgang Stadium, Shenzhen
  • Monday, July 27
    - Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid -- Tianhe Stadium, Guangzhou
  • Wednesday, July 29 or July 30 (date subject to agreement between the parties)
    - Real Madrid vs. AC Milan -- Shanghai Stadium, Shanghai

RSE Ventures CEO Matt Higgins said, "China represents the next frontier for the International Champions Cup. In just its third year, our tournament has expanded into four continents and truly become an international property" (Int'l Champions Cup).
