Marketplace Roundup: Erima To Replace Nike As Kit Supplier Of Dynamo Dresden

German 3rd League football club Dynamo Dresden "has reportedly signed a new kit deal with Erima to replace current partner Nike at the end of the season." Neither Erima nor the club "commented on the deal." Nike replaced Jako as the team's kit supplier in '11. As part of the four-year deal, Nike paid a reported low six-figure sum (SPONSORs, 4/17). ... The German Football Federation (DFB) and Prozone Sports have extended their partnership until Dec. 31, 2016. Prozone Sports is providing the DFB with services and software solutions (DFB). ... Puma and League One side Swindon Town FC announced a deal that sees Puma become the club's official kit supplier. The deal, which will begin on June 1, will see Puma supply the club's home, away and third kits, as well as training wear for the next three years. Genesis Sports is the exclusive licensee for Teamsport at Puma within the U.K. and Ireland (Swindon Town). ... Volkswagen "renewed its partnership" with reigning La Liga champions Atlético Madrid on Thursday and to celebrate, several Atlético Madrid players "went through a very peculiar driving test." Arda Turan, Antoine Griezmann, Koke, Diego Godín and Miguel Ángel Moyà "all tried out Volkswagen's new camera system by driving around a closed off course completely blind" (LATIN TIMES, 4/18). ... Rhino Rugby signed a 5-year license agreement with Li & Fung in the leisurewear sector. The deal follows MAY Trading, Rhino's original licensee in this sector, becoming part of the Hong Kong headquartered group's U.K. operations. Li & Fung is a consumer goods design, development, sourcing and logistics company for major retailers and brands (Rugby 247).

Former Serie A champions AC Milan have renewed their sponsorship agreement with Audi Italy.

The new partnership continues a relationship which began in 2007 and was brokered by Infront Italy, the club's exclusive marketing partner.

AC Milan vice-president Barbara Berlusconi said: "Milan and Audi have many shared values, especially when it comes to the brand.

"Innovation represents a point of growth for both groups, the design and the winning spirit which we’re not missing and I believe this is fundamental."

No financial details were made available.
