Bundesliga Side FSV Mainz President Says Club Open To Talks With Investors

Bundesliga side FSV Mainz President Harald Strutz "has acknowledged the possibility of an investor entering the club," according to T-ONLINE. Strutz: "The call for tradition is outdated. Whether you want it or not, the time of romance is over." However, he added that the club's members and their voting rights "are our highest commodity." Strutz: "If you want to face the challenges of the future and if the development is going toward that the involvement of investors can't be stopped, then you have to be open to talks." The 64-year-old added that "this is simply necessary to elevate the club to a new level" (T-ONLINE, 4/10).
