Italian Football Federation, Public Broadcaster Rai Extend TV Rights Deal Until '18

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) "has reached an agreement with Italian public broadcaster Rai for the broadcast of the Italian national team matches for the next four years," according to CALCIO E FINANZA. The new agreement extends the relationship between Rai and FIGC to '18. It "will cover friendly matches of the senior team, U21 team, women's team and youth teams." In addition to the TV rights, Rai "also secured the radio, Internet and mobile rights." Rai "already holds the broadcast rights for the team's Euro 2016 qualifiers" (CALCIO E FINANZA, 3/26).
