Int'l Champions Cup Expanding To Include China And Australia In '15

The Int'l Champions Cup, one of the largest football tournaments in the world, "will be even bigger" in '15, according to Jesse Lawrence of THE STREET. The ICC, which in the last two years was held in the U.S. and Canada, just announced that it will be "expanding to include Australia and China this summer." The teams that will compete in ICC Australia in '15 "have already been announced." European powerhouses Real Madrid, Man City and AS Roma have "signed up for a three-match round robin" at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. According to online ticket sales site Ticketbis, the match between Real Madrid and Man City "is the most popular in terms of sales, followed by the game between Real Madrid and AS Roma." ICC China will be held in late July, with the teams and venues to be "announced soon," according to sports and entertainment firm RSE Ventures (THE STREET, 3/23).
