TANNI GREY-THOMPSON was named non-exec director of London 2012 charity Join In, which connects volunteers in the U.K. with local sports clubs that need their help. Grey-Thompson is a former GB wheelchair racer and "one of the most successful British Paralympic athletes of all time" (SPORTS INSIGHT, 3/4). ... JAKOB MEJLHEDE ANDERSEN has been appointed as exec VP of MTG programming and content development and joins the MTG Executive Management Team. He will be responsible for content acquisition, programming and development for MTG's Nordic on and offline pay-TV businesses, and group-wide online free-TV businesses. The role also includes format sourcing and co-productions (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 3/4).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Serie A side Atalanta coach STEFANO COLANTUONO has become the fifth Serie A boss to lose his job this season after "being relieved of his duties on" Wednesday. Colantuono "will be replaced" by EDY REJA and his dismissal follows the sackings of EUGENIO CORINI (Chievo), WALTER MAZZARRI (Inter Milan), PIERPAOLO BISOLI (Cesena) and ZDENEK ZEMAN (Cagliari) (SKY SPORTS, 3/4). ... Peruvian first division side Universitario de Deportes coach ÓSCAR IBÁÑEZ stepped down from his position. CARLOS SILVESTRI will take over as interim coach (LIBERO, 3/3).
