Bulgarian Football Club Levski Sofia Opens Sale Of Shares To Its Fans

Bulgarian football side Levski Sofia on Tuesday opened the sale of shares in the club to fans, according to Alexander Krassimirov of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. All those "who buy shares will receive them" from those held by Levski Majority Owner Todor Batkov. All money received will go into the running of the club "and not to Batkov." The club said in a statement, "Shares will be available in packs of 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000 shares, each with a nominal value of (€0.50), or multiples of these numbers, depending on the size of the donation in favor of PFC Levski AD. 'Donations' can be made in person at club offices on working days between 10am and 3pm, or by bank transfer." The campaign, titled "Levski is yours," will run until May 24 (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 2/24).
