Octagon Launches Presence In Turkey Via Partnership With Sportsnet Group

Octagon has entered the Turkish market this week through a strategic alliance with Turkey's first sports-related marketing agency, Sportsnet Group. Octagon and Sportsnet Group have worked together for the past decade on various programs. The partnership will allow Octagon to serve the Turkish market. Later this year it will launch localized versions of its research platforms Passion Drivers and Passion Shift to provide a quantitative understanding of Turkish sports fans. Octagon Istanbul's main operational area will be Turkey, with further efforts in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazkhstan, Bulgaria, Georgia and Romania. Octagon Managing Dir for Europe, the Middle East, and India Jeff Ehrenkranz said the company is “very confident” that the partnership with Sportsnet will ensure a successful expansion into Turkey.

SBP NAMES OCTAGON CONSULTANT: Octagon also announced it has been named a consultant to the Basketball Federation of the Philippines (SBP) to assist with its bid for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Octagon will manage the SBP's bid strategy and formal response as well as development of a marketing plan and management of a FIBA workshop in Manila for key stakeholders (Octagon).
