Repucom Restructures European Business Operations As President Leaves Company

Repucom announced a process to restructure its overall business operations in Europe. As a part of this restructuring and by mutual decision, Marcel Cordes, who currently serves as President Europe will depart by Jan. 31 to pursue a new professional challenge. The restructure will see the various European businesses of Repucom realigned into a single business unit, forming one of three global operating units. The German business will continue to be led by Stephan Schröder, managing director Repucom Deutschland. There will be a greater emphasis on the sharing of knowledge, resources and marketing services within Europe. Repucom Founder & CEO Paul Smith will lead the realignment process. Smith emphasized that the existing country-by-country operations will not be changed. Smith: "Our efforts will be pointed towards supporting and creating further advantage from our market position in Europe and the region generally" (Repucom).
