CHRISTIAN PERDRIER "has been unveiled as the new president" of Ligue 2 side Nîmes Olympique. The local businessman, a former vice president of Disneyland Paris, has been appointed by the club's board of directors in the "wake of the resignation" of JEAN-MARC CONRAD, who left in November after his "indictment in a match-fixing investigation" (SOCCEREX, 11/27). ... Discovery Communications Deutschland Managing Dir SUSANNE AIGNER-DREWS is "now also the head" of Eurosport Deutschland. Aigner-Drews "takes over the position" from previous Eurosport Managing Dir BERND DAUBENMERKL, who will leave the company in April at his own request (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 11/27). ... Olympian DENSIGN WHITE has been "formally announced" as the new CEO of the Int'l Mixed Martial Arts Federation. The British judoka has int'l sporting credentials "that include triple Olympian, World Championship medallist," five-time European medallist and Commonwealth Champion (IMMAF). ... CHRISTIAN SALOMON has been named managing director of IMG's business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Formerly the senior VP and head of IMG Media across German-speaking countries, he effectively replaces MATTHIAS PIETZA, who decided to leave his position as senior VP and managing director of IMG in Germany and Austria earlier this year (IMG).
