Australian Broadcasters Seven, Fox Chase Former AFL Brisbane Lions Player Jonathan Brown

Former Australian Football League side Brisbane Lions player Jonathan Brown "is now at the centre of a tug of war between the television broadcasters," according to Jon Pierik of THE AGE. Brown, who retired during the '14 season, "has been offered a substantial deal by Fox Footy, in which he would become one of the major faces of the network's coverage next season." Channel Seven "is also keen on Brown, but the offer is understood to be less generous." If Brown was to join Seven, he "would be free to join 3AW's radio coverage." Michael Voss's decision to rejoin the coaching ranks with Port Adelaide "has opened a vacancy at Fox Footy" (THE AGE, 10/21).
