Former NRL Player Jarryd Hayne Hires Camera Crew To Document His NFL Journey

Former National Rugby League side Parramatta player Jarryd Hayne has hired a TV crew to "follow him throughout his ambitious yet fascinating NFL journey for a warts-and-all documentary," according to Dean Ritchie of the Sydney DAILY TELEGRAPH. Vision will be shot of Hayne's "on-field pursuit of an NFL contract while also capturing real-life moments away from the training field, an incite rarely seen by the Australian public." The camera crew was there when Hayne made his "initial shock decision to quit rugby league." It was also "shooting vision at Hayne's family farewell last Saturday afternoon" at Yiamas Greek Taverna, St. Peters, and when the ex-NSW champion "said goodbye to friends, including some Parramatta teammates, at Millone's Ristorante and Bar, Baulkham Hills." The camera crew is from CESPORTS, a company owned by trainer Hayden Knowles, who has "travelled with Hayne." Once Hayne’s journey is complete, the documentary will be "shopped around to Australian -- and possibly American -- free-to-air and pay television networks" (DAILY TELEGRAPH, 10/22).
