Scottish Championship Side Rangers Dir Sandy Easdale Buys 1.2 Million New Shares

Scottish Championship side Rangers Dir Sandy Easdale has "increased his shareholding at the club after buying 1.2 million shares," according to Matt Coyle of STV. The purchase of 1,242,110 ordinary share means Easdale "has influence over 26% of the shareholding at the Ibrox club." Easdale's purchases were announced by the club through the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday morning. The announcement comes "just two weeks after Easdale was pictured in Glasgow with a convicted money launderer." Easdale was "pictured on the front page of the Daily Record meeting with Rafat Rizvi, who is wanted by Interpol" (STV, 9/24).
