DEB, DEL Agree To Closer Cooperation Regarding German National Team

The German Hockey Federation (DEB) and the German Hockey League (DEL) agreed to a closer cooperation regarding the German national team. DEL club Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg Sport/Marketing Managing Dir Karl-Heinz Fliegauf will become the GM of the national team starting immediately until the end of the '14-15 season. A corresponding decision was made by the DEB's management. Fliegauf will become a representative of the DEB during the season as well as during the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in the Czech Republic from May 1-17. He will support national team head coach Pat Cortina in the administrative area. The role of GM will be filled on an annual basis from a representive of either the DEB or the DEL (DEL).
