Bayern Munich's Squad The Most Expensive In Club History, Earning Around $234M

This year's Bayern Munich squad "is the most expensive in club history," according to Psotta & Verhoff of BILD. The team's "top earners are Philipp Lahm, Franck Ribery and Mario Götze," who all make an estimated €12M ($15.6M) annually. They "are followed by Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer," who recieve around €10M ($13M) per year. The "total salary costs for players and coaches" is around €180M ($234M), which is €30M ($39M) more than those of the treble-winning squad in '12-13. At the club's annual general meeting in November, it estimated its total payroll at €202.8M ($263.7M). The club's management, supervisory council and its 450 employees received close to €50M ($65M) of that number (BILD, 9/4).
