Indian sports channel Sony Six will telecast 24 matches of the State level Karnataka Premier League, a Twenty20 series from Thursday-Sept. 12 (INDIAN TELEVISION, 8/27). ... The Int'l Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Japan Volleyball Association announced an agreement with longstanding partner Tokyo Broadcasting System to broadcast the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, which will take place in Japan. TBS has been granted exclusive event media rights in the host country (FIVB). ... BT Sport will televise highlights of all 10 rounds of the '14-15 FIA Formula E Championship in the U.K. In a deal brokered by MP & Silva, BT Sport will air a 60-minute program in the week after each race.
