Ferrari Pilots Fernando Alonso, Kimi Räikkönen The Highest Paid F1 Drivers

Scuderia Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen "are the highest paid F1 drivers," according to BLICK. However, "it is the only ranking that Ferrari dominates this season." The Italian team, which "has been unable to provide its drivers with a competitive car this season," pays each of them 26.6M Swiss francs ($29.3M). The ranking, which was compiled by the publishers of "Business Book GP 2014," also shows that Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo "makes 30-times less than his teammate and four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel." Ricciardo, who has already won two races this season, has an annual salary of 910,000 Swiss francs ($1M). That's even less than the 2.4M Swiss francs ($2.6M) that Sauber driver Adrian Sutil earns this season (BLICK, 8/18).
