ESPN Int'l Renews Rights To UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup
ESPN Int'l reached a broad multimedia rights agreement with UEFA to continue broadcasting the Champions League, Europa League, and the Super Cup in Spanish-speaking Latin America and select countries and territories across the Caribbean, effective '15-18. ESPN and Fox Sports will divide the matches equally for the Champions League, the Europa League and the Super Cup. For the Champions League, ESPN will carry a total of 76 matches each season, including 70 exclusive matches from the playoffs, the group stage and knockout rounds. ESPN and Fox will share the semifinals, the final and the Super Cup. ESPN rights to the Europa League include a total of 102 exclusive matches per season, including the group stage and knockout rounds. The final will be shared (ESPN).
