Marketplace Roundup: French Tennis Player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Signs Deal With IMG

IMG announced the signing of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France to a worldwide marketing and management representation. Tsonga will be managed by Carlos Fleming, whose athlete management portfolio includes seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, NFL players Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers), Colin Kaepernick (San Francisco 49ers) and Victor Cruz (N.Y. Giants), and reigning US Open Women’s Golf Champion, Michelle Wie (IMG). ... Russian Premier League side Dynamo Moscow unveiled its new kit for the '14-15 season, "the first in a partnership with Nike" (BROADWAY WORLD, 7/29). ... Thomas Int'l Sport signed on to become a partner of the Kent County Cricket Club. The new partnership will extend across all facets of Kent Cricket (Kent Cricket). ... The EBC Group has expanded its partnership with Worcestershire County Cricket Club to become its new shirt sponsor in a two-year agreement. The Halesowen-based office technology provider is WCCC's official telephony partner (Worcestershire Cricket). ... The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced a new partnership that brings on Combat as an official bat supplier of the '14 U15 Baseball World Cup. Combat will supply bats to the national teams for use in the 83 games of the world championship showpiece, and the Combat brand will have a presence around the competition venues in Culiacan, Los Mochis and Mazatlán, Mexico (WBSC).
