NBA Dallas Mavericks Player Dirk Nowitzki Extends Deal With ING-DiBa Until 2016

NBA Dallas Mavericks player Dirk Nowitzki "has extended his sponsorship deal with banking institute ING-DiBa until Sept. '16," according to Susanne Herrmann of W&V. Nowitzki "confirmed the extension at a press conference in Frankfurt." ING-DiBa has been a partner of the German basketball player for 10 years. ING-DiBa also extended its sponsorship deals with the German Basketball Federation (DBB) and the wheelchair basketball department of the German wheelchair sports federation. ING-DiBa board member Katharina Herrmann said, "Continuity is an important success factor for us, in the customer service and product portfolio as well as in the cooperation with Dirk Nowitzki and the basketball federations." Hamburg-based agency "Freunde des Hauses" has been in charge of the ING-DiBa campaign featuring Nowitzki since '10 (W&V, 7/21).
