Ferrari F1 Team Principal Mattiacci Vows To Make Changes But Refuses To Point Fingers

Ferrari F1 Team Principal Marco Mattiacci said after Sunday's British Grand Prix that the team will be a different one next year, "with changes already being made at Maranello," according to Alan Baldwin of REUTERS. Fernando Alonso "finished only sixth for the Italian team at Silverstone." Mattiacci said of the future of Ferrari Engine Head Luca Marmorini, "I don't want to point to any individual. We are redesigning the team, we are reinforcing the team. I don't make comments about individuals. We don't have to make any announcements. The best announcements are results." Reports in Italy last week indicated that Marmorini "had left the team" (REUTERS, 7/7).
