Donahoe, 54, has been CEO of eBay since '08, "overseeing an online shopping site and the PayPal payment system." Before joining the company in '05, he was the CEO of Bain & Co. (BLOOMBERG, 6/19). ... BJ-League Commissioner TOSHIMITSU KAWACHI was appointed to the Japan Basketball Association board on Saturday. The board "has been tasked with forming the new, tentatively named P League" for the '16-17 season. Kawachi has been BJ-League commissioner since its establishment in '04 (JAPAN TIMES, 6/22). ... The 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee "will appoint" Olympic Gold Medalist KOJI MUROFUSHI as its sports director, a post in which "he will serve as a representative of athletes in the preparation and hosting of the 2020 event." Spanish second division side Mallorca has announced that MIGUEL ÁNGEL NADAL, a former player of Mallorca, FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, "will be the club’s sporting director starting from next season."
