Nürburgring To Host German F1 Grand Prix For At Least Five Years Starting In '15
The German F1 Grand Prix "will reportedly take place at the Nürburgring for at least five years starting in '15," according to the SID. New racetrack owner Capricorn Nürburgring GmbH said on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with F1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone to host F1 races "annually at the Nürburgring for a period of at least five years." The agreement "would provide sponsors and business partners with ideal and long-term planning opportunities." Most recently, the German Grand Prix "alternated between the Nürburgring and Hockenheim on an annual basis" (SID, 6/17).
