Bayern Munich Most Valuable Football Brand At $896M, According To Brand Finance

Bundesliga club Bayern Munich has retained the top spot on the Brand Finance Football's annual study ranking the top 50 football brands. Bayern Munich's value was estimated at $896M by the consultancy, ahead of Real Madrid ($768M), ManU ($739M), FC Barcelona ($622M) and Man City ($510M). Bayern Munich unseated ManU in '13. It concluded that Man City's on-pitch success, including its second Premier League title in three seasons, has helped build the value of the brand. The survey also found that Ligue 1 side Paris St. Germain has seen its value quadruple in a year to $324M, up from $85M. La Liga's Atlético Madrid has seen its value double from $67M to $126M. Brand Finance upgraded the club's brand rating from AA- to AAA- (Brand Finance).
