Media Notes: Europa League Final Expected To Draw TV Audience Of Up To 175 Million

The Europa League final between La Liga side Sevilla and Portuguese side Benfica, which will take place Wednesday in Turin, "could draw an estimated total of 175 million viewers." UEFA estimated that "the TV audience could be approximately 60 million." Other "media figures for the match include the 300 accredited print journalists and 150 credentialed photographers and technicians who will provide coverage." Inside the stadium, "32 TV cameras will be installed for the live coverage" (EFE, 5/13). ... German sports network Sport1 "has acquired live TV rights to the ADAC Zurich 24-hours race for the next three years." Sport1 "plans to show more than 15 hours live on free TV from this year's race," which will take place from June 19-22 at the Nürburgring (QUOTENMETER, 5/13).
