Event Notes: India's Top Boxers Get Foreign Tour In Germany

India's top boxers will take part in the Chemistry Cup in Halle, Germany next month. With the Int'l Boxing Association and Indian body IABF "tussle continuing," the Indian boxers "have been deprived of foreign tours for quite sometime." So, with "barely months left" for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, this tournament "will be a big boost for the senior boxers" (TNN, 4/27). ... The Int'l Paralympic Committee Athletics in conjunction with the Brazilian Paralympic Committee has agreed with the Rio Half Marathon and Sao Paulo Marathon to host IPC Athletics Marathon Americas Cup events for the next four years, beginning in August (IPC).
