Glasgow 2014 Deputy CEO TY SPEER "is to leave his post just three months before the Games begin." Speer will leave the Commonwealth Games organizing committee next week "to pursue a new role overseas." Speer, a U.S. national, "joined the committee in November 2012 to lead the Games' commercial programme, including ticketing." Glasgow 2014 said that "it would not be appointing a replacement" for Speer (BBC, 4/25). ... Bundesliga club FC Augsburg "has signed an early contract extension" with Sports Dir STEFAN REUTER for an additional three years. Reuter, who took over the position from JÜRGEN ROLLMANN in Dec. '12, "will remain with the club until June 30, 2018" (SID, 4/27).
